Zoe Vidal’s birthday is difficult for her, and her eighteenth is no different. As she was born, her mother died willingly to give Zoe life. This year’s birthday is even worse than normal because a real estate developer is trying to buy out the entire block that her family’s restaurant is in to gentrify the entire place.
